You should be respected and valued for the work you do

We know it’s tough being a mental health professional these days.
Making a difference shouldn’t come at the expense of your well-being. At Iris, you will be on the front-line of the mental health epidemic while enjoying the support, flexibility, and balance you deserve. Are you ready to love your work?

The hiring process

We understand you have job offers coming at you from every direction. Our goal is to get to know you first so that we can offer you the RIGHT job. We pride ourselves on being transparent and upfront with all of the critical details that will affect your day-to-day job satisfaction. From clinical setting to scheduling details, to prescribing philosophy, we are committed to ensuring the role is a perfect fit for you.

Interview

We will take the time to learn about your clinical setting and scheduling preferences, as well as your prescribing and practice philosophies. We’ll also answer any questions you may have about telepsychiatry and working with Iris. This process takes place through a series of phone and video conversations.

Placement and licensure

Once you’ve decided Iris is the right fit for you, your dedicated Clinical Hiring Manager will identify opportunities that match your criteria. Together, you’ll select a clinic or hospital that’s a strong long-term fit. At the same time, our credentialing team will work with you to obtain any necessary state licensure.

Meet and greet

Your dedicated Clinical Hiring Manager will schedule an initial meeting between you and your potential new clinic. After that meeting, you’ll receive a Service Summary detailing the specifics of your placement. If all parties agree, we’ll move forward with onboarding.

Onboarding

Your dedicated Clinical Operations Manager and Credentialing Coordinator will handle all the administrative tasks needed to get you set up at your new clinic. This includes everything from completing credentialing paperwork on your behalf to helping you get set up with your technology and coordinating EMR training with your clinic.

Go-live

On your first day of go-live, your Clinical Operations Manager (COM) will ensure you’re connected with your clinic and that your appointments run smoothly. Your COM will maintain an ongoing relationship with both you and your clinic, providing support throughout the duration of your partnership.
